Setting 6-Month Intentions is a feedback loop for your annual goals. Check out my previous article on PACT goals (not SMART) to learn more about how I set annual goals.

“We don’t rise to level of our goals, we fall to the level of our systems.”

James Clear, Atomic Habits

Have you ever been so lost before that you just had to stand still, calm down and find your way? I’ve felt like this many times, especially when running late and failing to follow instructions from my Citymapper or Waze apps.

This analogy also applies to time. We are halfway through 2023, where has the time gone?!

For some, it has gone too fast, for others it may feel they have achieved a lot and therefore felt like time well spent.

My 6-month intentions start now.

I made an intention at the start of the year to be a full expression of myself in every aspect of my life.

👨‍👨‍👧‍👧 At home with the family
📝 Writing my monthly newsletter
💰 Clients I choose to work with
😇 Founders I decide to support

Every 6 months, I review data in my digital journal (called my Tracker) and answer the following 7 questions.

7 Intention Tracking Questions

1. Am I on track with achieving my intention for the year?

2. What are the top 2-3 patterns that stand out and why?

3. How do I feel after completing the review?

4. What are my intentions for the remainder of the year (can change or be the same)?

5. What people, resources, and things do I need to achieve my intention?

6. What boundaries do I need to succeed (saying No to more meetings!)?

7. How would I feel at the end of the year if I achieve this intention?

My intention for the next 6 months is to be more Audacious.

If this resonates with you then stand still, calm down and find your way.

I’ve created a digital journal in Notion for setting my 6-month intentions across various areas of my life, available through joining my monthly membership.
